Mokrin House is a coworking and coliving space located in the north of Serbia, eastern Europe. It is a modern and urban spot in a rural surrounding. Mokrin House is a perfect place for freelancers, entrepreneurs and digital nomads, who are looking to get away from the stressful routine and enjoy living and working in the countryside for 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years. We will take full care of you, providing 3 yummy, homemade, healthy meals a day, 24/7 workspace and ensuite bedroom. In our free time and after work we love to drink good coffee, exchange knowledge, hold movie nights, go on bike rides, swim in our bio pool or workout in our onsite gym.
The meeting place of progressive ideas and the people behind them
The main workspace is separated in two levels, suitable for coworking, various artistic and creative workshops as well as productive team meetings. Aside from open space, the facility hosts a separate office that can provide full privacy for a team of 10 people. Mobility of the workstations enables fully functional flexibility for individual work as well as work in smaller or larger groups.
Work and life balance is the key to a happy life, which is why our after-hours activities are plentiful.
Our workshops range from professional skill learning workshops and presentations to cooking classes and ceramics course. Do you have a skill or experience you want to share with others? Let us know and we’ll be happy to arrange for you to hold a workshop and find a way to thank you accordingly.
At the estate we have more than half a dozen bikes, at your disposal. Whether that is a ride to the village to buy an ice cream, or it’s just an afternoon ride to clear your mind, the bikes are yours.
During the summer it tends to get hot in Mokrin, so we have an open Bio Swimming pool. The Bio part means that the pool is not chemically treated, but rather cleaned organically. So summer afternoons are usually spent next to the pool with a glass of homemade elderflower juice.
At least once a week we have a movie night. Projector, speakers, large selection of movies, lazy bags and popcorn. Sounds good?
Traveling and moving can sometimes be stressful, and we understand that. That is why we recommend that you have a Skype chat with our project leader and coordinator if you are at all interested or considering living and working in Mokrin House. Ivan will explain how everything around here works and answer any questions you guys might have. The chat is just so that you can get to know us a bit better and doesn’t commit you to anything.
